Double-row pile retaining and protecting structure is a new type of deep excavation pit structure, which are combined cantilever retaining structure of space, It is Portal Frames system composed of two parallel rows of reinforced concrete pile and beams. With out any auxiliary supports, it can also be a good use of space portal frame structure, rigidity and spatial effects, and pile working together with earth retaining the unbalanced forces caused by excavation to achieve maintaining foundation excavation or slope stability, control deformation and meet the construction and adjacent environmental security.Double-row piles system is applicable for the foundation excavation ,which is near the Intensive construction with thick of soft soil layers and high water level .Nowdays, Multiple models are used to calculate double-row piles, but the design of double-row piles is more complicated than that of single-row pile. The design theory of double-row piles is not mature. There are a lot of rich experience in practice, but the theoretical research is lagging behind .The author summarizes existing computing models, and deduce on the basis of soil pressure for silo new computing models. Finite Element Method(FEM) is used to analysis the change of earth pressure of oundation excavation and the displacement. shear and moment of double-row piles. The portal frame structure can regulate Distribution of shear and moment. The influence of double-row piles without beam will be analysised in this paper.
