Jinjiao reinforced-faced rock-fill dam is the targeted structure of which the impervious and draining systems were studied. The work includes the seepage status of rock foundation and rock-fill dam body that play different and key roles in the complicated working conditions. All of the work is to help establish a rational water resources system for the local island development. The crucial results and conclusions are drawn as the following:The generally accepted models of the seepage cases were discussed; the corresponding simulation algorithms were expressed; the mechanisms of generation, development and disadvantages of seepage deformation were analyzed based on the complex hydraulic construction; the prototype measurement for seepage field were introduced in this dissertation in order to reinforce the hydraulic technology;The present status of Jinjiao reinforced-faced rock-fill dam was analyzed for its seepage behaviors. Meanwhile, the negative aspects of its impervious and draining system were discussed, too. The applicable advices for the seepage reinforcement of Jinjiao reinforced-faced rock-fill dam were offered, including the constructions of the cement masonry cushion under the concrete face, cutoff wall, and sink ditch etc.The comprehensive simulation of seepage field of Jinjiao reinforced-faced rock-fill dam were realized including its numerical model, boundary conditions and loading cases. Based on these calculations, the seeping pressures, hydraulic gradients, phreatic surface locations, evolution characteristics of wet zones of the rock body were simulated and computed. Furthermore, the seep-stress-coupled model was employed to simulate the multi-physical fields'behaviors of Jinjiao reinforced-faced rock-fill dam and foundation. Eventually, the optimal schemes of impervious systems and draining systems were achieved for Jinjiao reinforced-faced rock-fill dam. The work of this paper is helpful for the local hydraulic construction applications.
