Fiber-reinforced plastic have a lot advantage in light weight, high tensile strength, ease for construction. But it has limitationsin actual use: CFRP has a high tensile strength(2200MPa~5600MPa)and modulus of elasticity(120GPa~380GPa)as well as good corrosion resistance, but it gets lower elongation at break(0.8%~1.5%)and high price;GFRP tensile strength(400MPa~1800MPa)and elastic modulus(20GPa~80GPa)is relatively low,but the elongation at break(3.2% ~5.7%)higher prices are cheaper. The combination of CFRP and GFRP obtained HFRP not only has high strength also has excellent deformation properties. Two fibers adapt from each other, effectively solves the limitations of using a single fiber-reinforced composite materials.HFRP would exhibit great difference in mechanical properties due to the kind of fiber?overlay mode?craftsmanship,so in the case study we analyzed the performance of each component of HFRP we choose a company in Jiangsu customizable way?grade CFRP and Chongqing,a company's conduct unidirectional GFRP hybrid fiber-reinforced composite material uniaxial tensile mechanical properties were studied CFRP/GFRP reasonable match form.It also designed a single fiber between 27 and layer hybrid fiber reinforced concrete cylinders under axial compression experiment, the inter-layer hybrid HFRP concrete cylinders strength and deformation properties, the main research contents as follow:(1)Through 27 concrete cylinders fiber axial compression test, study the strength and deformation properties of concrete columns confined HFRP,studies have shown that: Elastic modulus and ultimate tensile strength made by hand lay-up method of single fiber composite materials are much smaller than the data provided by the fiber manufacturer, lower material utilization;the CFRP / GFRP hybrid is both high strength and elongation at break, and the brittle failure mode single fiber composites into the signs of the presence of ductile damage;HFRP ultimate tensile strength and elastic modulus of CFRP with increasing fiber volume fraction increases, while elongation increases CFRP fiber volume fraction decreases;CFRP laminates for the same position had little effect on the elastic modulus of CFRP HFRP volume fraction, but there is a certain effect on the ultimate tensile strength.Wherein the inner layer of CFRP place when GCG best mixed group.(2)By axial compression testing on 27 FRP confined concrete cylinders, research strength and deformation properties of the interlayer hybrid fiber concrete columns confined.Studies have shown that: FRP significantly improves the ultimate bearing capacity of the column, and with the increase of the number of layers of fiber improves;HFRP constraint column failure process is longer ductile failure, burst damage is small, and because of the multi-stage fracture characteristics HFRP make HFRP constraints column has obvious signs of damage;HFRP constraint column deformation performance than the CFRP constraint column significantly improved, and with the increase in the number of layers of fiber improves;Compared with the discovery by a single fiber Ductility of Binding of cylindrical columns each set of constraints, column constraints ductility HFRP significant improvement;Model existing FRP strength of concrete cylinders were analyzed and compared, and based on experimental data obtained HFRP intensity model by linear regression analysis,by comparing this model and found that the higher the degree of fit test.(3)With ANSYS for hybrid fiber constraint column finite element analysis by finite element analysis and experimental results were compared and found that the higher the degree of agreement between the two, that is the model used in this chapter, set reasonable parameters.
