With their good mobility, high strength, auto-erecting process, Mobile Bridge systems (MBs)are widely used for military purposes. If applied to the implementation of post-earthquake relief mission, MBs could greatly improve aid efficiency and shorten the rescue time, to save more people's lives and reduce property damage. But the army is not equipped with this kind system now, which can be quickly set up and to maintain the traffic flow,so we aimed at designing a new type MBs to enrich rescue equipment in the army, under the engineering background of projects cooperation with a steel bridge company. As the high importance of this kind of mobile bridge in protecting our military mobility and deficiencies of the prior studies, combining with the existing research results, with the aid of 3D simulation technologies, we designed the mobile bridge systems for the post-earthquake traffic reopening and maintainance, the rutting type and deployable truss bridge system could hold the military-grade 30t crawler type load and 20t wheel type load, the paper deeply dive in the performanc study of rapid bridging system in conjunction with the expansion of the bridge, while using the prestressing steel wire cable to improve its high load carrying capacity for the traffic maintainance function. The main work and innovative achievements are as follows:(1) Delivered a detailed research study on the current development stage of military bridges at domestic and foreign by reading a lot of related literature, and summarized the structural characteristics and trends aligned with the requirements of bridge engineering systems, then finalized a reasonable solution.(2) According to the construction requirements and guidelines for military bridge section, we implemented the truss bridge design and calculations work, we designed deployable bridge system that can be used to hold military grade 30t crawler vehicle and 20t wheel type vehicles, and established the 3D bridge span model through the computer-aided design method, and then designed the mobile bridge system model. The paper descripted the structure and function of each part of mobile bridge systems with thehelp of the 3D model of mobile bridge system built up by SolidWorks2010 software. Implemented the motion simulation by SolidWorks 2010, as well as the establishment of mobile bridge system animation motion simulation.(3) Builded the bridge structure model with FEA tool (SAP2000), finishing the analysis of the deflection and axial force of circumstances, to verify the adequacy of its rigidity.(4) Builded the FEA model with ANSYS Workbench for bridge structure simulation, and finishing the static structural analysis and modal analysis, validating the static mechanical properties of stiffness, fatigue life, etc. for the prediction of vibration performance.The new mobile bridge system design assignment is based on the project cooperation with the Guangzhou Zhongshan Steel Co., which is designed for the new product production instruction, the paper discussed the design concepts and design methods of the entire system, and using 3D design software to deliver the design results, and finished a reasonable analysis and verification of all aspects of its performance with the FEA software, the project will generate great help on the national economy as well as roads reopened rescue after the product production in the near future.
