Study On Harmonic Suppression Approach Of Active Distribution Network

The development of distributed power technology received wide support due to the continuing growth of electricity demand, the worse traditional energy shortage situation and the environment problem. The emergence of the active distribution network is to increase the acceptance ability of traditional distribution network for renewable energy. As more and more distributed power introduced to the distribution network, a large number of harmonics also get in.In this paper, the power filter integrated configuration method is put forward to suppress harmonics in the active distribution network. First the optimized configuration method of the passive power filter which is applicable to the active distribution network is analyzed, which includes the best location allocation method and parameter optimization design method. The inherent structure network method is used to determine the candidate nodes of best installation position of passive power filter. Considering the practicality, the traditional experience method is adopt to determine the specific parameters of passive power filter. Then the method of optimal configuration method of active power filter is analyzed, and the understandable step by step programming method is adopt. Finally, the power filter comprehensive configuration method of active distribution network is put forward which is divided into two steps for harmonic suppression. The first step is to use passive power filter to governance harmonic frequencies whose harmonic ratio is relatively higher; the second step is to further improve performance by using active power filter.The simulation example shows that the proposed power filter comprehensive configuration method can effectively suppress the harmonic in active distribution network. This method contributes to reduce the investment of harmonic suppression scheme of active distribution network on the basis of guaranteeing the harmonic ratio and the total harmonic distortion of voltage all in compliance with national standards.
