| Plate- fin heat exchanger is one of compact heat exchangers,It has many advantages and has been widely used in many industries. Fin surface is the most important part to determine the performance of heat transfer and flow resistance. Changing the shape of the fin helps to improve the heat transfer efficiency and to improve the flow of the flow channels. Many scholars has been focused on the study of different fin.Based on a type wavy-serrated fin as the research object, this paper has carried on the modeling and simulation using CFD software, to st udy the fluid in the wavy-serrated fin heat transfer and flow. This paper study the effect of the corrugated serrated fin of different structural parameters and Re to the performance of heat transfer and resistance. Results showed that the heat transfer performance could be improved by increasing fin pitch, increasing fin thickness, increasing fin height, approaching 0.3 of offset strip fin pitch to fin pitch and approaching 0.2 of amplitude to wavelength. Using the evaluation standard of the j- f factor, this paper mapped the corrugated serrated fin in different structure parameters and Reynolds number change curve, analysis the structural parameter to improve the heat transfer and flow characteristics. It provided a basis for the design and research work.This paper compared the difference characteristics between the heat transfer and flow wavy-serrated fin. Using the evaluation standard of the j- f factor, this paper mapped the heat transfer and pressure drop performance change in different conditions. Including wavy-serrated fin, corrugated fin and wavy-serrated fin, serrated fin between with Reynolds number and figure. Results showed that the corrugated serrated fin has more advantages in heat transfer performance. |
