| With the development of the society, there has been an increasing number of reinforcement and reconstruction projects,and many engineers have devoted to the field of reinforcement and reconstruction. The appearance and application of new projects,methods and researches have promoted the development of reinforcement engineering and have showed bright future of reinforcement technology. The thesis takes the cutting columns supported with brackets in a hotel of Guangzhou as its study case. By calculating the change of internal forces of cutting columns supported with brackets,and adopting different methods of reinforcement, design analysis and comparison are made to this project. The main content and conclusions of this thesis can be summarized as follows:First, the concepts, methods and characteristics of concrete structure are introduced.Since this project is a project of cutting columns supported with brackets, the concepts,categories, application scope, merits and demerits, current researches and prospects of the project of cutting columns supported with brackets are briefly introduced.Second, Analysis Model is built by structure design software PKPM. The study analyzed and checked the changes of internal forces before cutting columns and after cutting columns through simulations of PKPM, and determined the partial components without enough bearing capacity and the scope of reinforcement.Third, methods, advantages and disadvantages, and application scope of traditional reinforcement design are introduced Besides, two ways of reinforcement are combined based on current methods of reinforcement, and the advantages and application scope of the new method are presented.Forth, after building the analysis model of partial component such as reinforced beam,accurate analysis is conducted from the perspective of transfiguration. Comparingtransfiguration of reinforced beams in different methods of reinforcement provides technical indicators for the scheme of reinforcement, and shows that the best thickness of adhesion was 3 to 6 cm.Fifth,based on the characteristics of the reinforcement and reconstruction project in the study, the method of construction and the controlling scheme of construction security were proposed, and verified that the columns were safe and reliable after reinforcement by the monitoring data of the whole process in construction.
