The pick is an important part of all kinds of mining machinery,which is arranged on cutting head and mainly used to crush all kinds of coal and rock.The performance of the pick affects the construction efficiency of cutting head and mining machinery.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the thermal characteristics of the pick,that is,the factors affecting the cutting temperature and the three-direction cutting force in the cutting process and the relationship between them.At the same time,it provides a basis for improving the performance of the pick and the construction efficiency of mining machinery.In this paper,single pick is used as the research carrier,and the existing equipment is used to build a straight line cutting coal and rock test platform to carry out the single pick cutting test research.By setting cutting speed,cutting depth and installation angle and designing orthogonal test scheme,the cutting temperature and cutting force of single pick under the influence of different horizontal values of each factor were obtained.The influence of three factors on cutting temperature and three-direction force is determined by means of range and variance analysis,and the relationship between cutting temperature and cutting force is analyzed.The finite element model of single pick was built on the basis of single pick cutting test,and the cutting process of single cutting was simulated by ABAQUS.After analyzing the simulation results and comparing the errors with the experimental results,the correctness of the simulation model of single cutting pick is confirmed,which also lays a foundation for the establishment of the finite element model of double cutting pick and double rotary cutting head in the future.The finite element model of double cutting picks was established by adding the intersecting distance.Through qualitative comparison with each group of single cutting pick under the same working condition,the influence of transversal spacing on cutting temperature and three-direction force was explored.On the basis of a new type of cantilever roadheader with double rotary cutting head,the finite element model is established to explore the cutting temperature and cutting force in the actual cutting process,and the analysis is carried out.In this paper,the method of experiment and simulation is combined to carry out the experiment and simulation research on single cutting tooth,and on this basis,the simulation research on double cutting picks and double rotary cutting head is carried out.The influence of each factor on cutting temperature and cutting force in three different situations is analyzed comprehensively,and the relationship between cutting temperature and cutting force is also analyzed.This provides a basis for improving the performance of cutting pick and the construction efficiency of mining machinery.The paper has 61 pictures,36 tables,and 64 references.
