The electric power steering system that rely on the outstanding characteristics of the electric power can ensure the vehicle in any condition. It has better handling stability and steering portability, even in the stop rotation steering wheel can also provide a condition of agile and light weight. It will not feel buoyant instability in the high speed and give a successful solution to the car in "light" and "spirit" of the contradiction.Compared with the traditional hydraulic power steering device, energy saving 3%~5% is one of the developing direction of the steering system. In this paper,we do the following work on the research of P electric power steering system:1.According to the requirements of certain models of booster designed pinion power steering system, and by CAD / CAE software for the design of the system strength checking and parameter optimization, and also the establishment of a three-dimensional model.2.Using a reduction mechanism plastic helical gear and worm combination of metal, and its motor and system parameters matching and analyzed according to the EPS system booster and vehicle requirements.Software for use KISSSOFT cross helical gear mechanism was designed three-dimensional modeling and stress analysis, optimization and the use of gear modification MATLAB optimization toolbox, greatly improving the efficiency of the use of strength and drive mechanism.3.According to the booster system requirements of the torsion bar of the torque sensor structural parameters were designed and ANSYS Workbench for design use torsion bar were static analysis and design optimization.4.EPS system booster motor for the type selection and parameter determination, while the motor and the reduction mechanism were matched analysis.
