Research On Environmental Optimization Design Of Cultural And Sports Square In Dalian

The contradiction between the urban residents of the growing cultural and sports activities demand and imperfect urban-styled plaza environmental space construction is gradually emerging. The collective cultural and sports activities (e.g. square dance), have appeared disorganized and noise disturbing phenomenon in recent years. Through environmental design method to improve existing square landscape elements configuration, make urban construction style square space reasonable, improve the style of the square space utilization, in order to realize the cultural heritage of the city and promote the spirit of sports, those are the urgent need to address the real problem.Combined with literature collection and analysis of field research, this paper summarizes the main reason for the problem arising:On the one hand, we cannot cope with the needs of normal use and peak because of the uneven allocation of resources in the city square space; on the other hand, the lack of environmental design in stylistic square is shown in the unreasonable spatial layout, the uncomfortable physical environment, inadequate facilities and other issues. From the angle of improving style plaza landscape elements configuration, we present five basic principles of the design optimization:1. The characteristics of location-based services for the population; 2. Harmonious whole spatial layout; 3. Multi-level green with ground floor; 4. Flexible physical environment; 5. A comprehensive and efficient facilities.Finally, take Dalian city style plaza design practice as an example, research transforms three close squares by applying those above principles. It summarizes modified guidelines on the settlement square, enriches the design principles of the theory of modern urban settlements square, but also provides certain methods for the transformation of the square. In the new vision of sustainable development, the environmental design of effective landscape elements in style plaza aims to improve their overall quality, attempting to build a more inclusive, more comfortable and more efficient municipal style plaza environment.
