The 21 st century is one age which is convenient, environmentally friendly and full of wisdom. But with the acceleration of urbanization process, the size of city is expanding and the number of motor vehicles rose sharply. Those factors leads to a series of problems, such as the increasingly crowded urban roads, the gradual deterioration of the environment, energy consumption and dramatically frequent traffic accidents, etc.Cycling contributes to energy conservation, ease congestion and the end of traffic problems to solve. It is increasingly popular in china, while it has been very widespread in foreign, public bike rental system has been built at anywhere in countries. It is convenient for citizens to travel for a short distances. However, the existing public bike still has many shortcomings and deficiencies, such as citizens may not get the location of the public bike site, the number of available bikes, the number of remaining parking spaces and other information. It results that the citizens may not clearly find public bike site around them. What's more, they don't know which is the public bike site has available bikes or has the number of remaining parking spaces. These factors, to some extent, reduce the efficiency of urban public bike system and restrict the development of green travel. Until now, there has not yet built a complete set of hardware and software systems for users to inquiry the information of rental site and available bikes in real time. So, in order to improve the current situation that public bike resources are not fully utilized, a set of public bike rental system based on the technology of mobile internet are designed and developed. It may provide users to access basic information about the site in real time.The system can achieve the connection of site's key information and Web data management platform. Users(citizen) may get the local public bike site information(including site location, bicycles and the remaining quantity of parking spaces) easily and quickly by Android smart mobile terminal applications. The bike rental system based on mobile Internet technology is mainly composed of two parts, hardware and software systems. The hardware system includes acquisition nodes and management station. The software system includes Web data management platform and Android terminal applications. The key technologies and achievements involved in this paper are as follows:(1) Design of acquisition nodes: The borrowing information of each parking of vehicles are collected in real-time via radio frequency identification technology. MCU used to control the RF module to read the serial numbers. RF module reads card's serial number after the operation of swiping card, and then transmitted the information to MCU to decode in a specific data coding format. Finally, let the information collected through wireless data transmission module upload to Web data management platform in order to complete the collection of site information in real-time.(2) Design of management station: The basic information of each site is collected by using short distance wireless transmission technology, which may not communicate with a remote server. Therefore, we need to design a device that can gather information from hardware but achieve telecommunication, namely the management station. It will receive and gather the site information which collected by acquisition nodes.(3) Design of Web data management platform: site information which collected by acquisition nodes will upload to Web data management platform via GPRS network based on HTTP communication protocol. It achieves information exchange between management station and Web data management platform. And then the Web data management platform storage it, what's more, we designed with multiple regional multifunctional module and administrator permissions module for the user to view a variety of data in the Web interface. Finally, we finish the construction of the Web data management platform.(4) Design of Web Android terminal applications: The APP may access Web data management platform through the GPRS network to obtain the location where there is a public bicycle rental stations and electric vehicle charging station. It can provide the site information through Baidu map and the number of available bikes, the number of remaining parking spaces and other information. Finally, we finish get the parking status information online.This paper put forwards a suggestion for the urban public bike rental system and designs a system based on mobile internet. It solves the problem of existing rental system that, to some extent, citizens may not get the location of the public bike site, the number of available bikes, the number of remaining parking spaces and other information. The system is characterized by environmental friendly, convenient, simple operation and easy to use. What more, their use can be extended to other areas with a good promotional value, such as public parking motor vehicles, new energy vehicle charging stations.
