Due to the excellent light absorption characteristics and convenient deposition process, organometal halide perovskite solar cell has caught tremendous attention in the past few years. Since 2009 the first report of organometal halide perovskite solar cell, stunning power conversion efficiencies(PCEs) boost has been achieved from 3.8% to 20.1% in only 6 years. However, in a typical perovskite solar cell, the use of mesoporous Ti O2 layer inevitably increase the cost of perovskite solar cell. The use of mesoporous Ti O2 layer also impede the further understanding of the operation mechanism of perovskite solar cell. Hence, in this work the aim was focused on the preparation and characterization of organometal halide perovskite solar cell, including the deposition process of organometal halide perovskite materials, compositional engineering of the absorber and the study of the influence of blocking layer to the device performance. The results are listed below:1) The fabrication of heterojunction organometal halide perovskite solar cell was studied, using the sequential deposition method, a PCE of 4.67 %, a Voc of 0.77 V, a Jsc of 17.09 m A /cm2 and an FF of 0.37 was achieved in the planar heterojunction perovskite solar cell;2) Through compositional engineering the performance of the planar heterojunction perovskite solar cell has increased by 80% achieving a PCE of 9.53 %, a Voc of 0.96 V, a Jsc of 17.09 m A /cm2 and an fill factor of 0.53;3) Through solvent engineering over 10% PCE was achieved with Voc of 0.98 V, a PCE of 10.77 %, a Jsc of 19.70 m A /cm2 and an FF of 0.56;4) Through structure and process optimization, a 16.1% PCE was achieved with a Voc of 1.04, a Jsc of 21.96 m A /cm2 and an FF of 0.71.
