In recent years, our country has entered into an aging population rapid development period. The elderly population in China has been increasing rapidly and accelerated. Face to this phenomenon of an aging population growth, long-term plans and positive strategies are necessary to cope with the situation. In the elderly population, hearing loss prevalence rate is quite high. It is the common chronic disease next only to arthritis and hypertension, and the incidence is increased with increasing age. At the same time, in coping with population aging positively and in developing elderly service business and industry, the elderly hearing loss is a problem which worth to be attended. Auditory organs aging belong to the natural law, there is no method to reverse this process. From the medical point of view, for the elderly hearing loss patients, the most effective and safe treatment method is to wear appropriate hearing aids, so as to improve their listening comprehension.In this thesis, the core research content is the design and implementation of an digital hearing aids. Considering that the actions and operations of the elderly will be much inconvenience at the same time in hearing loss, this thesis combines hearing aids with speech control function to produce a enhanced function hearing aids system. Combining hearing aids with mobile application and home control, the users can control the mobile end and household equipment by speech command at the same time of improving their listening comprehension.Finally, this thesis achieved a hearing aids system based on multi-channel loudness compensation and speech control technology to improve the health and quality of life for the elderly hearing loss patients. The basically core part in digital hearing aids is how to use various kinds of speech signal processing technologies, including loudness compensation, speech enhancement, acoustic feedback elimination, sound source localization and frequency shift compression, etc. In this thesis, the author chose a multi-channel loudness compensation algorithm with the sets of research, analysis, design and implementation, and complete the simulation in Matlab. The hearing aids system is divided into three subsystems: digital hearing aids, mobile application and home control system. In the design, it is divided into four modules: hearing aids module, bluetooth module, mobile module and home control module.According to the division of the module, the software and hardware design and implementation are completed in sequence. According to the test, it shows good performance and achieved the basic goal of this thesis. At the end of the thesis, some defects of the hear-ing aids system are improved and optimized, trying to make the wearing experience of the elderly hearing loss patients achieve optimization.By wearing this hearing aids system, the elderly hearing loss patients can not only be improved in hearing health, but also handle phone calls, messages, mobile terminal applications, household lamps and more networking equipment through speech control technology.To some extent, the system can have the ability of helping the elderly hearing loss patients to improve their living quality.
