Regarding radar antenna and pod working in the open-air, its wind load is one kind of primary external load which must be considered, because it influences these equipment's structure design, working life, control accuracy, motor selection and other properties. The numerical calculation method of wind load on rapid sector scan special antennas and aircraft pod is analyzed in detail, and the limitation problem of calculating wind load by using empirical formula is solved. A detailed systematic solution is proposed for how to carry on numerical calculation and analysis of wind load on the antenna and the pod, from the condition analysis, computational modeling to build wind load database, finally to the wind load calculation software system development.The main research contents of this thesis are as follows:(1) The computational research method of wind load on the antenna and the pod is analyzed in detail, and a theoretical reference is provided for rapid sector scan antenna and aircraft pod;(2) The wind load calculation method of the radar antenna, under the condition of unsteady flow field, is studied to obtain the wind load time history data under various operating conditions, providing reference for the structural optimization, precise control and motor selection of the rapid sector scan special antenna;(3) The wind load of the special structure of the pod is calculated and analyzed, under the condition of steady flow field, and each azimuth and pitching angle of drag torque is calculated, providing data support for the design of servo system of pod;(4) The wind load data of rapid fan scanning antenna and pod, as well as the wind load data of conventional antenna and fluctuating wind, are organized to set up a database of wind load and develop the wind load calculation software.
