With the declining cost of electronic equipment, the importance of automotive electronics in the automotive sector are also increasingly prominent. Steering system has experienced a mechanical steering and hydraulic steering two stages of development. Electric power steering system will become the inevitable development trend.Electric power steering system has the advantages of energy saving, environmental protection, and compact structure, compared with other steering system. These features were consistent with the automobile industry development trend. In recent years, many experts and scholars to carry out some research EPS control systems, and also made a lot of research results, and thus has been rapid development and application. Automotive electric power steering system is one of the most important topic for the development of domestic auto industry.Taking the electric power steering system control strategy as the studying object,this paper focus on researching the Assist characteristic curve ? a combination of differential evolution algorithm and robust control algorithms control strategy. The main contents are as follows:(1) Introduced electric power steering variety of structures and working principle of the system, to simplify the composition of the electric power steering system, and establish a mathematical model of the electric power steering system,and access to system transfer function matrix.(2) It describes the characteristics of the power curve, and three typical power curve for a detailed analysis. Reference assist characteristic curve of two design methods, by means of experimental data fitting approach to design power curve and power curve analysis and comparison of design and testing of power curves. In return- control design, we present a summary of the design method, a simple theoretical analysis.(3) On the basis of the above research, the paper design EPS integrated control method based on Differential Evolution: : Combining differential evolution algorithm and robust control methods for solving integrated controller. It uses Matlab / Simulink software and Carsim system for electric power steering modeling,and simulation analysis. By vehicle model for co-simulation Carsim are analyzed to verify the validity Based on Differential Evolution and robust control synthesis algorithmThrough this study, it design and put forward a new control method for theelectric power, the simulation results show that the control method of the system with good performance. it provides technical reference to the vehicle chassis and steering system, has certain guiding significance.
