Transmission tower and line is vital to the safety of transmission tower-line system. Transmission line as an external force applied on the tower, then tower analysis is based on finite element method(FEM). Most transmission line pull relatively straight, tower span changes result from tiny deformation of tower, leading great change of transmission line force then transfer load to the adjacent tower, transmission tower and line mutual influence and interaction, is coupling system.The final position of under load transmission tower is obtained by iteratively, but FEM is always not convergent due to the tower stiffness is far greater than the transmission line. So this thesis constructed equivalent model of transmission tower-line system in meso-macro-meso method, providing a theoretical basis for coupling analysis of transmission tower-line system. From microscopic analysis, constructed force-displacement equivalent element of transmission line. Using energy method and Maple program, calculated the internal force of triangle and quadrilateral tower, then equal them to the same stiffness of beam element. From macro analysis, obtained the equivalent model of transmission tower-line system considered both interaction and influence domain. The load applied on the tower and links were obtained by equivalent model of transmission tower-line system which were the basis for the design of tower size. Coupling property is more strong in narrow transmission tower-line system, compared advantages of different stiffness distribution in transmission tower-line system which under unbalanced load, get a conclusion that with the stiffness ratio increased between tension and linear tower, more conducive to the transfer of imbalance load between towers. The correctness of the equivalent model of transmission line is verified by the simplified experiment.In this thesis, except general FEM calculation,a theoretical analysis method is provided for transmission tower-line system from the view of meso-macro-meso, and the simplified model bring great convenience for the analysis of transmission tower-line system.
