Ice and snow weather will jeopardize the security of highway transportation,but ice and snow weather are relatively common in the expressway in winter in most parts of our country. With relevant research shows that, the vehicle is extremely easy to cause the traffic accident on the ice and snow road, And vehicle traffic accident consequence severity on ice and snow road compared with normal weather conditions is much greater. More than half traffic accident caused by ice and snow weather will cause casualties and other serious consequences. Snow hazard on highway traffic safety remarkable, so it is necessary to launch the research initiation mechanism of expressway traffic accident under the ice and snow weather and take some practical and effective measures to reduce the highway traffic accident rate the ice and snow weather and improve the traffic safety of highway in the ice and snow weather. The article have a system analysis for the occurrence mechanism of expressway traffic accident in ice and snow environment and the road traffic accident mechanism is divided into three categories. On the basis of the snow and ice road traffic accident in the process of the development of traffic of each subsystem state, we present the time- state method to analyze the occurrence mechanism of expressway traffic accident under ice and snow weather.Secondly, this paper take expressway pavement icing indoor simulation experiment on center of the highway engineering experiment. We establish the icing prediction model based on multivariate linear regression and fuzzy system according to the experimental data.
