With the rapid development of China’s smart grid, the requirements for the reliability of grid and energy efficiency will also be improved. The smart home power utilization, as an important part of smart grid, is characterized by its flexible bidirectional interaction of user and grid. Therefore, it plays an important role in improving the reliability of power grid, the efficiency of energy and the promoting the utilization of family distributed generation.This thesis aims to study out a smart home power utilization system and the optimal household electricity strategy. The user can realize the real-time monitoring of environmental conditions within the family and intelligently control the start and stop conditions of various appliances through the system. The optimal strategy can reasonably adjust the enable time of electric equipment, thus achieving the least amount of electricity charge. The system not only is beneficial to home energy-saving electrical power consumption efficiency, but also can improve the intelligent standard of household electricity.The thesis designs the basic framework for smart home power utilization system combined with the Internet of things three-tier architecture, and establishes the human-computer interaction interface of intelligent electricity system in the LabVIEW graphical programming software. Through the system acquisition, transmission, processing, etc., users can get a real-time view of the domestic situation through the interactive interface, and can complete automatic control of home devices according to the corresponding display data, finally realizes the intelligence and automation of the electricity.The thesis combines user’s electricity planning and the TOU price information of the Power Grid Corp, taking the start time of electricity equipment as the decision variables and the minimum household electricity costs as a optimization goal, establishes the household electricity planning model. Chooses the SAE Cloud Computing Platform to design the ordinary accessible web platform for the groups, which can show the optimization results. The design offers the users a way to the optimal electrical scheme and real-time control of the start and stop conditions of household appliances. The platform displays the validity of the smart home power utilization system, the results of the optimization algorithm proves that the optimal strategy can effectively save the user’s electricity bill.
