With the improvement of people's living standard,today families have more advanced needs for home environment.Due to technical limitations at the time,there are many problems such as complex operations,low intelligence,poor scalability,high cost and difficult maintenance in traditional smart home systems.These problems affect consumer enthusiasm to adopt smart home.The rise of “Internet +” and Internet of Things provides technical support for further development,and therefore creates new opportunities to expand smart home market.This thesis describes an improved design of smart home system,using Cloud computing with high reliability and low cost benefits.Firstly,the background,significance and development trends of smart home system are analyzed.In order to satisfy the requirements of smart home control system,a solution based on Internet of Things and Cloud computing is offered.The design and implementation of smart home control system are proposed in this solution.The thesis also introduces how to apply ZigBee wireless communication technology,embedded system technology and Cloud computing technology in smart home system.Secondly,according to the overall system design,the hardware and software design are described in detail.The hardware structure includes embedded home gateway,GPRS module,RFID module and ZigBee terminal family device modules.The system software design covers embedded gateway development platform,ZigBee wireless communication network,remote control terminal application.Moreover,the key technologies in the existing Cloud platform are studied,and a smart home control system with Cloud architecture is built.Finally,the management and control functions of the smart home system are tested.The results show that the whole system can achieve remote access,monitoring and alarm functions,completed the expected design tasks.The system has the advantages of low power consumption,simple operation,stability,reliability and easy expansibility.It is a feasible solution for smart home systems.
