In the recent years,The Yellow River Water and Sediment Regulation has achieved remarkable results,the Yellow River Main Channel scour the riverbed elevation average is reduced 1.5m,and which lead to flow rate decreases in the same water level.The current water level of the Yellow River Diversion Pumping Station has failed to meet the original design requirements,The flooded depth of intake sump is reduced,Caused changes in water flow state pool pump cavitation and deterioration of conditions,than its caused flow state in intake sump and pump cavitation conditions change,Eventually leading to severe cavitation blade,a significant decline in unit vibration and efficiency.Therefore,The three-dimensional turbulence model of Tian Shan before and after a pumping station transformation was built,and the flow pattern of forebay and intake sump has been calculated,got the flow pattern of each section,three technical scheme was contrasted.The main contents of this paper includeing the following parts:The first chapter summarizes the research situation in the world,The purpose and significance of the study and the research contents of this paper are expounded,and the research situation of the flow pattern and optimum design of pumping station at home and abroad are briefly introduced.In the second chapter,the control equations,turbulent models,boundary conditions and mesh generation of the three-dimensional turbulent flow in the pump station are described.In the third chapter,the flow pattern of the intake sump in different Yellow River'water level and the unit operation the is analyzed,and the technical support is provided for the subsequent improvement.The fourth chapter,On the based of does not change in the field of buildings,pump units and inlet and outlet structure,putting forward different transformation schemes,and analyzes the various schemes for the improvement of intake sump,and ultimately determine the intake sump'technical transformation scheme of Tian Shan pump station.
