PengTou hydropower station is located in Zhuo ZhangHe river in Shanxi Province,its controling river basin area is 10458 square kilometers,The total capacity of Hydropower station has 4.25 million cubic meters,its total installed capacity is 1200 kilowatts.There are annual average generating capacity of 10.65 million kilowatt-hour After the completion of the project,at the same time which can increase the downstream cascade power stations generating 3.08 million kilowatt-hour.The main structure of PengTou hydropower station is made of sluice dam and diversion type power station located on the left bank from behind the dam.The sluice dam include lock chamber,left water retaining dam section and the right,The highest sluice dam has 21.2 meters.the dam axis has 200 meters long,which included 35.6 meters of lock chamber,39.5 meters of the left bank box-type retaining dam and 24.9 meters of the right bank gravity retaining dam.On the right bank of dam site has the exposed bedrock,and on the left bank has overburden layer.The riverbed has be thick covering 5 to 28 meters,the upper part of lithology is low liquid limit clay layer,and the Lower part is pebble mixed soil.Underlying bedrock is ?2 x-1 argillaceous shale,and the bedrock which is Strong weathered has 5 to 8 meters thickness,which is weathered Weakly has 10 to 15 meters thickness,the dam shoulder is stabilized.There are some problems to be dealt with in dam foundation,such as overburden layer,the seepage of bedrock and the non-uniform deformation.these are attributed to Thick riverbed covers,pebble soil mixed with quaternary clay layer(average 10 m thick),and sluice bottom part is located in the clay layer,the section is located in the pebble soil mixed.In recent years,high pressure jet grouting pile is used more and more widely in foundation treatment.This paper,with the dam foundation treatment works of PengTou Hydropower Station as the research object,is the research of high pressure jet grouting pile that applied to complicated foundation reinforcement(such as low liquid limit clay layer,gravel mixing soil and interbedded strata of poor graded gravel).According to the sluice foundation soil complexity and inhomogeneity from geological survey,after the technical and economic comparison of large excavating soil replacement cushion scheme and high pressure jet grouting pile program.the results showed that the technology of high pressure jet grouting pile save 41.89 million than soil replacement cushion method,furthermore,the rive diversion of construction is convenient.In this project,the author used method to produce that the high pressure jet grouting pile combined with test.who determines 0.7 meters diameter high pressure jet grouting pile construction and other parameters ultimately,adopts measures of excavation on-site inspection,coring,single pile loading test for pile diameter detection and pile Detection soil reinforcement effects between the detection to study the quality of jet grouting pile,the results showed that high pressure jet grouting pile is feasible,which used in Pengtou hydroelectric project sluice foundation treatment.After the inspect excavation and coring test,the results showed jet grouting pile diameter,pile center location and compressive strength of pile core samples satisfied the requirements of design,and the eigenvalues of composite foundation reached capacity reaches 250 kPa,meet the design requirements.Based on the study of parameter design and application in high pressure jet grouting pile to get some conclusions,simultaneously which provide a reference for similar projects.
