With the rapid development of global economy, human alteration of the natural environment. has been more widely used. Hydropower. transportation, mining, urban construction and other projects are in urgent need of research and management of geotechnical engineering. Nanchang city since2000. after the city construction has entered a period of rapid development, with the development of the demand and supply contradiction of land resources of the project becomes more and more serious, the geotechnical engineering is also affected by the people more and more attention. This paper combines the theory knowledge of geotechnical engineering investigation, design and construction of foundation pit area, to support engineering design. Century Towers foundation pit construction practice as the basis, combining with the engineering survey, in the foundation pit engineering design scheme selection, foundation pit construction process problems, based on the deeply analysis of Century Towers Foundation pit support of the proposed site engineering the engineering geological conditions and hydrological geological conditions, exploration, from geotechnical excavation design, excavation construction alone, comprehensive analysis, combined with the Nanchang City Local geotechnical engineering, foundation pit construction experience, the construction technology and construction site conditions, design and construction of the similar and the region is proposed proposed site conditions of foundation pit engineering design and construction. This paper discusses the matters needing attention in deep foundation pit excavation, support selection of supporting scheme, a detailed construction supporting pile and soil nailing wall, ground water control. In order to ensure the safety of excavation pit wall, ensure the safe operation of the foundation pit plane, control the surrounding built (structure) of buildings, roads and municipal pipeline deformation, to ensure the safe and normal use. the foundation pit slope supporting design.
