With the economic development in western china,its transport network has been continuously expanded and improved.Under the infrastructure construction of transportation network,tunnels and viaducts are built through high mountains,in consideration of protecting the ecological environment in mountainous areas.As for the bridges crossing high mountains,the pile foundations are built on different side slopes,such as slight slopes,gentle slopes,steep slopes,and extreme steep slopes.Therefore,the load for pile foundations of bridges on the side slopes,covers not only axial load and horizontal load of the upper structure transfer,but also the lateral earth pressure caused by the slope,which makes pile foundation of bridges on side slopes in a relative complex geological environment.At present,the study on this kind of pile foundation is relatively less,and there does not exist a complete theoretical system as the basis.Thus,the paper is designed to simulate single pile by means of ANYS finite element software,analyze changes in displacement and internal force under the influence of the lateral load,vertical load as well as their common function,and comparatively make an analysis of the related factors influencing the force and deformation of the pile foundation.The main content of the paper research and the results are as follows:Firstly,we makes a study on the existing theories about side slopes,considering that the stability of the slope will affect safety of pile foundations.Besides,we summarize and analyze relevant factors influencing side slope stability and the calculation methods of the sliding surface of side slopes.The chain evolution of medium carrier is used to describe the characteristics of the side slope when it is sliding.In addition,we further analyzes distribution forms and calculation methods of the slope body thrust and resistance.The internal force calculation of pile foundation is based on the assumption of m-method.Differential equations about pile foundation load section are deduced.With the help of using power series equation solution,the method of calculating the pile flexural deformation equation,under the combined load and soil resistance,has been obtained.Under vertical load influence,the pile will vertically be compressive deformation.With the vertical load increasing,the vertical deformation also increases;meanwhile,the approximate location of a pile force focus point from sliding thrust,can be set in accordance with slope sliding thrust and the internal force change of pile foundation.The properties of slope soil can affect the stress and deformation of the pile foundation.That is to say,as the soil mass elastic modulus increases,pile lateral displacement becomes smaller and smaller.It shows that the slope sliding thrust is decreasing,with side slope more stable.The change of the slope grade will also affects the stress and deformation of the pile foundation;that is,with slope grade expanding,pile lateral displacement is also increasing.
