With the rapid development of society and economy, more and more toward the modern architecture, and large-scale high-rise shaped structure in the direction of development, which makes the project for each part, especially the requirements of the foundation bearing capacity is high, in the northwest of the deep collapsible loess site works are also more and more, because of the influence of loess collapsibility, make a lot of construction needs to be based to the bedrock layer or the gravel layer must extend down tens of meters or more thick foundation can meet the specification requirements for the remnant collapse site, a lot of work and effort and cost, and even sometimes the cost of foundation treatment is higher than that of the upper structure of the cost; therefore, the depth and breadth of foundation the treatment of choice is very important.In this paper, combined with engineering examples, the paper discusses and analyzes the depth and width of the treatment of the collapsible loess foundation by numerical simulation and theoretical calculation.Mainly through the following aspects:1, After the whole treatment, the artificial foundation has good strength, stiffness and stability, permeability is small, water is difficult to penetrate the soil, and when the water body through the artificial foundation, the soil water will occur in a certain degree of deformation, deformation and stability, assuming that the soil and artificial fill in the soil, and then to compare the size of the wetted parts of the foundation and allow the occurrence of wet subsidence sition, pile foundation regarded for composite foundation, the land and foundation combined with increased the intensity of the whole, through assumed around the without treatment of loess in case of water soaked produced some wet collapsible deformation, at this time, pile composite foundation formed certain support, similar to the bones of the human body, wet soil stuck in its support, is still regarded as stable. Based on this point of the above analysis to discuss the moisture trapped soil drop-down role for breadth of foundation treatment effect.After the above analysis, it can be achieved to increase the strength, rigidity and stability of the soil, which can increase the strength and stiffness of the soil and the stability of the soil.
