Micro-grid is a new energy supply and management technique, which contains distributed generations, energy storage systems and all kinds of loads. Because of its advantages of high energy efficiency, environment friendly and so on, it draws extensive attention. Energy storage system is an important part of the micro-grid, which plays a key role in the safe and reliable operation of micro-grid. Through the control of energy storage system can smooth power supply load and distributed generation output fluctuations, reduce its impact on the power grid, improve power quality, achieve micro-grid can be scheduling. Therefore, the control strategy research of energy storage system of micro-grid, which has important practical significance. In this paper, we have carried on the preliminary research, the main research content is as follows:Firstly, the different types of energy storage systems are introduced, and the characteristics of different types of energy storage systems are compared and analyzed, and the supporting role of the energy storage system in the micro-grid is summarized. A hybrid system consisting of the super capacitor and battery energy storage system is analyzed.Then, the definition of the concept and structure of micro-grid are introduced, and the detailed explanation is made, and the basic control strategy of micro-grid is summarized. Focus on two kinds of micro power grid power supply(wind power and photovoltaic power generation) is introduced in detail, and according to the actual wind power data and photovoltaic power generation data on the volatility of the two kinds of micro power.Finally, the control strategy of micro-grid energy storage system is proposed. In this paper, the output power fluctuation of the renewable energy and the power grid can be realized. The control strategy of hybrid energy storage system is proposed, which is based on the super capacitor terminal voltage constraint, the battery charge and discharge power limit and the SOC constraint.
