In recent years, with the frequent occurrence of haze weather, the demand for clean and sustainable energy has become more and more strong. As a new energy source, wind power has become more and more quickly. At the same time, the impact of wind power inherent intermittent and volatility on regional power grid is also increasing, due to the continuous increase in the size of the wind farm. This paper takes Zuoying wind farm as an example, the, analyzes the influence of wind farm accessing to He Ze power Grid, and provides a technically feasible solution for the safe operation of Zuoying wind farm. The main research results are as follows:Firstly, according to the installed capacity of wind farm and requirements of the grid, this paper selects the related parameters of transmission line and transformer capacity, and then designs the main wiring diagram of the primary side of the wind farm.Secondly, design of reactive power compensation scheme for wind farm. Under two typical load operation modes, the system power flow is calculated. The calculation results show that the reactive power control scheme can meet the demand of the system voltage stability when Zuoying wind farm is under different operating conditions, and no transmission line overload operation.Thirdly, calculating the short circuit current after Zuoying wind farm connected to power grid, and provides data bases for dynamic stability and thermal stability check of substation and transmission line.Fourthly, the system transient stability of He Ze power grid is carried out in simulation analysis, and the simulation results show that the He Ze power grid can still remain stable when Zuoying wind farm connected to power grid.
