Lots of air cooling units built in the northwest region of our country which is imbued with coal but lack of water. Placing desulfurization tower and wet precipitator inside at the same time can decrease area and save coast. Using hot air can rise the gas after desulfurization and help diffuse clear gas. For air cooling units, the condenser vacuum decided to steam turbine exhaust steam pressure, the temperature of the circulating cooling water decided to condenser vacuum and the heat transfer performance of air cooling tower determine the temperature of the circulating cooling water.Therefore, the analysis of heat transfer has important significance to improve the thermal efficiency and economy.The four in one type indirect air cooled tower is a big cooling tower which place desulfurization tower, wet precipitator and chimney inside. Use a four in one indirect air cooled tower of 2×660MW unit as model. Compared with the traditional air cooling tower by CFD, the influences of desulfurization devices, chimney smoking upon ventilation and heat transfer of the tower were investigated. The results show the influence of desulfurization devices on the ventilation quantity is less than 1% without wind, the influence of chimney smoking on the ventilation quantity is less than 0.3%. The conclusion provide reference for the design and optimization of the tower. On the basis of theoretical research, the influence of temperature and heat load to condenser vacuum was analyzed by operation data.The influences of temperature, thermal load, wind speed, angle of louvers upon the heat transfer of the tower were investigated. The simulation results show that the windward air velocity and the ventilation decreases with temperature rising and increases with the thermal load increasing. Compared with original tower,equipment placed in the four in one type air cooling tower makes the ventilation increasing as the wind speed increasing. As the wind direction changed, the hot air outlet of tower and high-temperature air inside moved to leeward side. The effect of adjusting the opening of louvers is obviously as wind speed is 8m/s.
