With the rapid development of the economy of our country, it is the increasingly serious energy crisis, the development of alternative energy of coal, oil, natural gas and other traditional energy sources, such as wind power, photovoltaic power generation become the mainstream trend; Wind power is rapidly becoming the focus of research by virtue of its low cost, mature technology, clean and no pollution. China has a vast territory, the wind resources are mainly concentrated in the southeast coast, Inner Mongolia, Gansu and northeast, but the economic developed regions concentrated in North China, central China and East China, with the electric load is much larger. As a result, the wind power grid in China is characterized by unbalanced distribution and far away from the load center. When large-scale wind power generation and other new energy sources centralized connected to grid, long-distance transmission and wind energy influenced by the weather, not controllable, these self-characteristics will bring new challenges to the stable operation of the power grid. China's power grid interconnection scale continues to expand, if the power grid occurs out-of-step oscillation, the spread range is also becoming more widely, if not solved timely, will seriously affect the stability of the power grid operation.The mainstream of DFIG, D-PMSG connected to grid by power electronic system,when the system has large disturbance, taking into account the safety of power electronic components, wind turbine protection act and cut off the turbine. Consideration of dynamic support of power grid during the period of disturbance, power grid requires wind turbine with low failure, high voltage crossing ability, but the performance of wind power production units have different manufacturers, the performance of fault ride through is also different. Therefore, weak anti-interference ability, easy off network is one of the characteristics of wind power; According to power electric devices connected to grid, the transient stability of the wind power grid is also affected by the low inertia of the wind power and the weak coupling of the system and the fast recovery of the power;At the same time, due to random fluctuation of wind power, the frequent changes of the wind power output, affecting the reactive power voltage characteristics of the grid and the transient characteristics; These aspects make the large-scale wind power connected to grid with certain variability, which will inevitably affect the characteristics of out-of-step oscillation, may lead to the migration of oscillation center of the actual power grid and the safety operation of out-of-step splitting device. But there is little research on the interaction between large scale wind power and out-of-step oscillation and how to promote the coordination of the two. Therefore this research has strong application value and the significance.At first, this paper reviews the development process of wind power in the past years,introduces the model and principle of three commonly used wind turbines, elaborated splitting device's action principle when certain serious fault leads to oscillation both in domestic and foreign power grid.Then, basing on the “EEAC” theory, by using PSD-BPA simulation software which developed by Chinese Electric Power Research Institute, build the "wind and thermal bundling" equivalent single machine infinite system, observe the splitting device's action response characteristics when wind power in different proportion, the wind farm has reactive power compensation or not and wind farms under different operating modes to study the influence of wind power on out-of-step splitting, and then using Ningxia actual power grid to verify.At last, further study the influence of different principles splitting devices and the transfer of oscillation mode on wind power, explore the measures to make the two coordinate to each other.
