With the continuous expansion of the size of the grid, the drawbacks of the large scale power systems are becoming increasingly prominent, it is difficult to meet the needs of reliability which is becoming more and more high and the needs of diversificat demand. The development and application of micro grid technology has gradually become one of the means to solve the problems of traditional power system in many countries. More and more serious environmental problems and non renewable resources are shrinking, which makes the waste heat power generation and distributed photovoltaic power generation develop quickly. The combination of distributed power supply and micro grid technology has formed a new operation mode of clean power grid.In this paper, present situation of the waste heat power generation and photovoltaic power generation at home and abroad were firstly analyzed, application of microgrid control theory was summarized, and determine the research on design of Ancai Gaoke microgrid; secondly the waste heat power generation system and photovoltaic power generation system were reasonable design in Ancai Gaoke according to the national and industry standards; again, to carry out the design scheme and analyze the impact and benefit evaluation caused by two micro power connected to the public grid, proving the feasibility and effectiveness of micro grid scheme design. In the end, the problems in the implementation of the system and the prospects of the future research were analyzed.
