Planetary gear transmission systems are widely used in aviation, shipbuilding,automobile, industrial gear box and other power transmission occasions. With the development of science and technology, low vibration and low noise of high precision gear are demanded in every walk of live. Nevertheless, the system vibration characteristics are affected by the tooth surface wear, which causes the failure of the gear system. In view of this, this paper using a planetary gear as the research object is based on the planetary gear dynamics model and train quasi-static wear model. It analyzes the deep affect of working parameters and error parameters working on tooth surface wear in order to reveal the wear behavior of the planetary gear transmission.In order to provide a mechanical basis for vibration damping and noise reduction of the system, the planetary gear train gear modification strategies are determined by orthogonal experimental method under given conditions, and influence ruler is analyzed by modification parameters working on gear wear behavior. The main contents of this paper including:Firstly, considering the effects of time-varying mesh stiffness and transmission error, this paper using lumped-parameter method, establishes the nonlinear dynamic model of planetary gear, combines Hertz' theory and Archard's wear formula to investigate the planetary gear wear model and numerical simulation on the wear characteristics.Secondly, basing on the established planetary gear wear model, the effects of operating parameter and mesh misalignment work on the tooth surface wear is reached, and influence of the different misalignment affecting the tooth surface wear is discusses by this paper. In order to study the effect of tooth surface wear on gear transmission characteristics, based on the effect of dynamic load, the dynamic response and wear interaction of gear pairs are analyzed.Finally, modification analysis is carried out by the safety factor of the gear as the constraint and taking the wear depth and static transmission error fluctuation between gears as an index. A gear modification strategy and modification parameters for special working conditions were determined through orthogonal experience method.Results indicate that combination modification strategy combining the sun gear profile crowning and planet gear profile crowning strategy can improves the gear meshing characteristics, thereby prolonging the service life of the gear.
