Now, unmanned aerial vehicle(uav) is widely used in military field. In order to carry out complex military tasks, it is very important to build a uav ad-hoc network. The research institutions have begun to study uav ad-hoc network in many countries, and the results indicate that this kind of network is a special ad hoc network. At present, most of the studies of uav ad-hoc network are still in the stage of simulation research, have not yet provided a very mature technology. For the purpose of effectively improving the ability of cooperative battle, a uav ad-hoc network simulation platform has been built, and a great number of simulation for various network scenarios are done for the analysis of protocol performance and parameter optimization, Furthermore, customized MAC and routing protocols for special application scenarios can be designed on this platform.The content and the goals of the thesis include two aspects: on the one hand, built uav ad-hoc network protocol simulation platform by OPNET simulation software; On the other hand, verified the performance of different routing protocols and MAC protocols by setting different network scenarios. First, the process of building the uav ad-hoc network simulation platform has been introduced in detail in this thesis, the platform has been introduced one by one from node model to process model. Second, the communication protocols used in the platform have been described, the network layer uses two kinds of routing protocols, they are respectively for on-demand routing protocol and table-driven routing protocol, MAC layer uses three MAC protocols, they are ALOHA protocol, CSMA/CA protocol and TDMA protocol which is put forward by our group, this TDMA protocol is based on the slot allocation algorithm of adaptive node density and load. Finally, large amount of simulation have been carried on in different network scenarios, The performance of different routing and MAC protocols have been analyzed by the simulation curve for different network scenarios.The simulation platform built in this thesis has verified the performance of different routing protocols and MAC protocols in different network scenarios, which will be convenient to design customized routing protocols and MAC protocols for special application scenarios on this platform, and lays the foundation of improving cooperative battle's ability.
