In this paper, shortcomings and deficiencies on tests of traditional friction-typed high-strength bolts were analyzed, and an improved test were conducted. Through horizontal and vertical comparison with the traditional tests, important conclusions on tests of friction-typed high-strength bolts were summarized; on the other hand, tests of torque capacity on friction-typed high-strength bolts were conducted. It has great engineering application value. Details are as follows:Anti-slip tests showed that:after the secondary slippage, anti-slip coefficient will decrease; When plates after slipping were reassembled into new connected nodes, its load capacity decreased greatly. using improved material to conduct anti-slip tests, not only can save about 50% of the material, but also get a more accurate anti-slip coefficient result.Torsion tests showed that:for connected nodes of friction-typed high-strength bolts, there is a more stable torque capacity, it has a certain reference value for engineering design and construction.
