Faced with the climate change, harsh environmental situation and energy shortages today, the nations of the world are seeking other green energy's development actively. The state is increasingly focusing on the use of energy-saving and consumption reduction technology, and the requirement of enterprise energy-saving and consumption reduction has been improved. In addition, the increasing electricity equipments of the enterprise also improve the electricity load. Therefore, reinforcing the management of power resources to improve economic benefits has a very important role. Electric energy information acquisition system can acquire the real-time electric meter's data as an important part of the electrical energy management, and sent the data to the data center through the public mobile communication network for the data analysis of the system. Electric energy information acquisition system can acquire the meter data quickly and accurately to provide decision support for green energy-saving, facilitate the information management and help the enterprises achieve energy-saving and consumption reduction to improve the economic benefits.According to the requirements, we design an remote communication electric energy information acquisition system based on embedded system. The system can be divided into three parts, including:embedded electric energy information acquisition terminal, remote communication network and data center of master station. Electric energy information acquisition terminal's main work includes:the master MCU obtains the electric energy data from the electric energy data acquisition module, and sends the data to the data center of master station through the public mobile communication network. When a communication failure occurs, the data is stored in the local staging module for retransmission. The electric energy data acquisition module consists of two slave MCUs and the RS-485 bus circuit, responses to the master MCU's instruction and acquires a variety of different types of electric meter data according to the MODBUS protocol. Two slave MCUs work in parallel to improve the efficiency of the system. The master MCU controls the communication module to establish a connection to the data center, and sends the data frame grouped into a format to the data center in transparent transfer mode, while the data frame format includes basic operating parameters of the information acquisition terminal and timestamp information to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data. In addition, the PC software sets parameters to the master MCU through the serial communication interface circuit. Meanwhile, the DBGU state circuit of the master MCU also displays the system running state in real-time through the serial communication interface circuit. Switching power supply provides power for the system, and the status light indicates the power supply condition to ensure that the system is working nomally. Additionally, this paper focuses on functional and performance testing for each module of the system.The system can collect data from multiple different types of electric meters, and sents the data to the remote data center in real-time, with low cost, good reliability and strong applicability.
