The Research On Data Fusion Technology Applied In Water Supply Network System

Currently, GIS has been applied in all walks of life, from the customed power system to the naving map system, we can see it everywhere. Compare with the dramatic technology in GIS, the geospacial data servered as basis and core has been affecting the functions and performance of the system, geospacial data sharing and fusion has been the focus recently. The operation of GIS relies on a lot of geospacial data, huge amounts of labour power as well as material resource shall be consumed in data acquisition and arrangement,which causing the bottleneck problem. Due to the difference of data model casued by various development tools, many customed GIS application has to build their map from beginning,which lead to the data redundancy. So, how to make full use of exited map data and how to eliminate the difference of data model to improve efficiency of resource using, finally come to the goal of data sharing and fusion with different format, different datum and scale. It's the hot issues in GIS research fields.This paper research on data fusion technology based on "Water Supply Network System". By analysing the virtue of geospacial data deducing the classification of data fusion, here we focus on vector data fusion. Shortly we introduce the frame structure of the vector data fusion technology which make a general discussion of the problem of corresponding entities matching in GIS. Then analyse the concrete water supply network system posing the problem about how to convert CAD maps to GIS maps. Under the guidance of the theory, we propose the method to realize the transformation from Cad map into GIS map based on semantic information, by identify the corresponding entity and carry out the strategy of data fusion to make it out. Finally, by importing the library, we will program in C# to build ourself data fusion interface, we will analyse the model of Cad and MapInfo. By doing this, we will free ourself off the limit of third-party software.The data fusion method based on semantic information applied in actual project runs well with lots of procedural testing, satisfy the requirement of project.
