Sunlight is the natural light man has adapted to for a long time,it's the healthiest lighting source suitable for human eyes visual function.LED is the fourth generation of lighting source following the incandescent lamp,fluorescent lamp and HID which showed small volume,high luminous efficiency,long life,and many other unique advantages compared with the traditional light source.LED has narrow spectral band width and the light is incoherent light.Therefore spectrum of LED is more easily operated.Recent advances in high-power monochromatic LED technology expand the application of LED in the field of general lighting.In order to achieve the healthy lighting,solar-like light source is drawing more attention.The purpose of the paper is to achieve a kind of high quality LED-based solar-like light resource which spectrum is close to the sun through numerical calculation of color mixing and to optimize different LEDs combination.The work of the paper can be summarized as follow:1? Current situation of high-power monochrome LED and selection of spectral radiation model.A comprehensive research of current situation of high power monochrome LED was conducted through field tests and site investigation.We compared different LED spectral radiation model in common use,the best suitable mathematical model was chosen as the LED spectral radiation model.The investigation results were processed by the selected model for obtaining fitting parameters of different kinds of LEDs,and these parameters were summarized as the database of current kinds of high-power monochromatic LED.This can provide support for follow-up study as well as improve the engineering practice of the simulation experiment.2? Optimization of solar-like light source based on LED.Optimization calculation is complex and with huge calculating,but with the help of a computer program can be very easy to implement.An optimization procedure was developed based on spectrum superposition principle and least square optimizing method.This can provide guidance for the realization of solar simulation through optimized LEDs combination.3? The simulation of solar spectrum based on monochrome LED.The procedure used the database as basis light source selecting library and picking out the LEDs combination which can best fit the solar spectrum.Then we verify the correctness of the program design through optical simulation by software of Trace Pro.4? Solar-like light source based on compensated white LED.The optimization procedure was used with the white LED inject database.We compared the method of white LED compensation and multiple monochromatic LEDs spectral assembly,and analyzed on fitting effect of different LED combination matching solar spectrum.The results show that the method of white LED compensation optimizes the simulated solar spectrum with the fitting correlation index 90.74%,better than the method of monochromatic LEDs spectral assembly.And when the number of LED types decrease,the former has better effect in simulating solar spectrum.
