A Study And Design On Message Authentication And Privacy Preservation In Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks

Vehicular ad hoc networks, as a special kind of ad hoc networks, through and out of the cars, the communication between vehicles and roadside infrastructure to achieve driving assistance message, provide real-time traffic conditions, vehicle access from the network service. However, VANET has a wide range and high mobility, it guarantee the traffic safety at the same time improve the traveling environment and there are also some privacy threats. In VANET, when the mobile node of a foreign network, only through the network authentication will be allowed access, also in order to prevent a malicious attacker tracking, VANET need provide anonymous service to hide the identity of the mobile node. So, the traditional identity authentication and privacy protection mechanism is not completely suitable to VANET. In this paper, aiming at the particularity and the user's own privacy threats of VANET, the paper has done the following work:For VANET users move to a non of the area since the group network authentication,using the characteristics of discrete logarithm proposed a kind of identity in a cross domain anonymous authentication scheme based on, the scheme by agents realize the conversion of different domain certificate, and certificate verification after conversion,so that the RSU can also and the region or non the domain of OBU a trust relationship,to achieve different domain OBU or between the domain RSU to other domains OBU anonymous authentication, and analyzes the security of the scheme.In view of the special nature of VANET, put forward a kind of safe and efficient privacy protection scheme. The scheme will use mobile communication mode of group management, to efficient identity based group signature based, to achieve communication workshops, let each vehicle can through the nearest RSU under the premise of not leaking privacy dynamically join a group.For exotic identity authentication system adopts B / S system structure, Using SSH framework to achieve. Software is mainly aiming at the problem of security interaction between two different trust domains, between different trust domains of the identity of the communication of two-way authentication, and set the tight permissions management, ensure the safety certification process.
