Since the 1970 s, especially when China began to explore and develop strategic missile, China's equipment of strategic missile and aerospace has been developed a lot, which requires more capacity about aircraft monitoring and control, and the ability to forecast the missile state. Such as strategic missiles, in the pilot training in peacetime, if an exception occurs during the missile's flight, and the missile departing from the orbit, it probably falls into a crowded city or falls outside the country, which will be a catastrophic blow for a country, then if the missile in flight can destroy itself when it departing from orbit, or the Ground Command Center can informed of the status of missle promptly and control the missile to blew up at remote distance, it can avoid a national disaster and diplomatic incident caused by a incident made by military. During the war years, there is more need for military to keep abreast of the battlefield, for a missile launch task, not only to complete the successful launch missiles, it is more necessary to complete the missile real-time tracking, monitoring, access to flight status and predict future missile situation, at last, assess the damage level of the target.Based on a comprehensive analysis of the above requirements, the paper stragetic missile flight situational awareness system was discussed in detail and the overall design and implementation. The propose of this system is to made commanders to know more about the situations on the missile no matter what model it is, and this system established a set of data acquisition, data processing, situation aassessment, information display and judgment as one of the situational awareness platform. Firstly, this paper analysis the research about situation awareness system all over the world, summed up the demand of the missile flight situational awareness system and the analyze of goals of the system, then to analysis the basic function that the situational awareness system need to accomplished. Secondly, this paper makes an overall design for the system form application framework, software architecture, network architecture and configuration file structure four dimensions, and the system's performance and development environment are described. Third, the paper introduces and researches the key technologies of developing the system, and introduce the detail design and implementation of every function model. Finally, paper shows the operating results of the previous work summarizes and analyzes the future direction of the system perfect.Currently, the strategic missile filght situational awareness system has passed inspection, and was put into use. System basically reached the intended target, the system performance good effect, and obtain military leaders alike.
