Face-gear transmission is a new type of gear transmission which is engaged with the bevel gear and the cylindrical gear.It has many advantages,for example,large transmission ratio,high coincidence degree,light weight,strong bearing capability.With the face-gear is a new type of aviation transmission gear,has been paid more and more attention.In order to improve the service life of face-gear under the condition of oil-lack,some scholars proposed in the face-gear tooth surface add pit morphology storage lubricating oil to improve the service life of the il-lack conditions.However,add micro morphology on tooth surface will change the structure of tooth surface,the meshing performance of face-gear drive will have some influences.Therefore,this paper take face-gear tooth surface pit morphology as the research object,analysis the meshing performance of the different pit morphology and size parameters of face gear drive,The main research contents are as follows:According to the characteristics of face-gear slotting process and meshing theory,is derived the tooth surface equation of the face-gear.Then using Matlab to solve addendum unchanged sharp maximum outer radius and the dedendum do not undercut the minimum inner radius.To establish the three-dimensional solid model of face gear by Pro/E software.Design of the circular,triangular,square three kinds of tooth surface pits morphology,and established the three-dimensional model of transmission system of the pits morphology of face-gear.Based on the dynamic simulation of face-gear drive system in different pit morphology by use of ADAMS,which to study the influence of tooth surface of different pits morphology to face-gear meshing performance,obtained minimal impact on the circular pit morphology to the face-gear meshing force and the output rotational speed.Then,in the circular pit based on tooth surface,analyzes the different diameter circular pit morphology to output speed variation rule of the face-gear,and calculate the transmission error of simulation.The contrast analysis shows that pit morphology of tooth surface will increase the transmissionerror of the face-gear,and when the circular pit diameter in 300 um to minimal impact on transmission error of face-gear,and transmission is the most stable.By laser marking machine machined different pits morphology in the tooth surface of face-gear.By using YD9550 rolling inspection machine to conducted meshing transmission experiment of the pits morphology face gear.Different pit morphology of face-gear contact force and different diameter circular pit morphology of face-gear ransmission error were measured and compared with simulation analysis,to verify the correctness of the simulation.
