In recent years, with the intensification of air pollution and smog proposed frequency is higher and higher, the motor vehicle exhaust emission is one of the most important source of atmospheric pollution, classification of heavy duty vehicle emission control in our country is strict, and at present most of the heavy vehicle is still using combustion of hydrocarbon fuel heavy-duty diesel engine as its power, oil as a non-renewable energy has less and less, develop more energy saving and environmental protection of heavy-duty diesel engine, not only need to take the initiative to reduce energy consumption, and need to take the initiative to reduce the engine exhaust gas emissions of pollutants, has the vital significance.At first, this paper puts forward the research background and significance of this topic, this paper expounds the formation mechanism and control strategy of engine emissions and then put forward the design and development meet the requirements of the 5 emissions of heavy duty diesel engine design research and development program.This article through to heavy duty diesel engine fuel system, into the exhaust system, combustion system and cooling system, the system for effective CAE analysis, forecast and assess the key system design heavy duty diesel engine parts and engine design and development ability, can effectively shorten the new product design and development of heavy-duty diesel engine product cycle.At the early stage of the heavy duty diesel engine design and development on the basis of theoretical analysis, and through to the heavy duty diesel engines in the performance of the bench test validation, timely adjust and validation and optimization scheme improvement, finally achieved the basic properties of the heavy duty diesel engines and machinery design and development of the initial goal;In order to achieve the final energy saving and environmental protection requirements, but also need to heavy duty diesel engine electronic control optimization calibration method, to realize the heavy-duty diesel engine combustion system platform performance optimization and bench of SCR emission aftertreatment system calibration optimization;Through the above measures and methods, finally realizes the design and development meet the requirements of the 5 emissions of heavy diesel engine, and has a higher emission level upgrade potential.
