The Art Of Huizhou Garden Inherited And Developed In City Garden

Huizhou gardens,as a part of Jiangnan gardens,has a long history and profound implication.It’s harmonious ecological concept,superb gardening practices,pursuit of living style,literati garden artistic conception has guiding significance in our society which advocate constructing a ideal and harmonious living surrounding.But at present,Huizhou gardens’ developing and applying in practice project mostly focus on duplicating symbolic elements,lacking of theoretical and technical guidance.How do Huizhou gardens deeper ideas,gardening technique of artistic carry forward using in modern design?City garden provide such a platform,which as a showcase of new ideas,new method of garden art and it can also develop and enhance garden art.Therefore,in this study,seize the opportunity,set Huizhou gardens as the research object,the city garden as the carrier,combine with theoretical research and case studies,summarize Huizhou gardens’ art characteristics,the city garden’s characteristics and design points respectively,then,on this basis,explore the application of Huizhou gardens’ art in the city garden.Finally,using Anhui garden as example to do further demonstration research.This research obtain the following way of Huizhou gardens’ art apply in city garden :First,through the ecological materials and technology express harmonious ecological idea;using fengshui idea to guide landscape layout and landscape construction.Second,using cultural implication plants and couplets plaque to express artistic conception of garden;through the production of daily life scenes and service facilities for people display pursuit of living style garden.Third,space division depend on function and create a "start-transition-high-end" sequence space.Fourth,transform Huizhou traditional element and combine modern elements to innovative new forms.
