In order to adapt to the development of road traffic in our country, the new materials in the field of maintenance engineering and new construction technology need further research. Under the role of emulsifier, asphalt becomes emulsified asphalt. The cement emulsified asphalt mixture which mixing with aggregate and cement at room temperature can be used in road maintenance repair. At the same time, energy can be saved and pollution to the environment can be reduced. Cement maintained the characteristic of emulsifying asphalt mixture in the normal temperature, and it also shortened the forming time of mixture strength greatly, reduced waiting time of the traffic road repair. Engineering practice shows that cement emulsified asphalt mixture which applied to the maintenance and repair still have problem in the aspect of old and new pavement. Therefore, this article puts forward that add coupling agent to cement emulsified asphalt mixture to solve this problem.In this paper, on the basis of related research at home and abroad for reference, through the method of combination of theory and experiment, coupling agent-cement emulsified asphalt mixture is studied systematically. First of all, raw materials are selected, especially the screening of coupling agent. Using the revised Marshall test method and the orthogonal experiment method, analyzing the influence of uniaxial compressive strength that coupling agent consumption, asphalt content and cement content on the Marshall specimen early, late Marshall mechanics index and rotating compaction molding specimens(room temperature curing 7 days). Comparing the results of Marshall test and uniaxial compressive test, and considering the mixture performance requirement and economy, the appropriate dosage of raw materials is recommend: 4% of coupling agent aqueous solution(coupling agent: water = 1:3), 7-8% of emulsified asphalt, 2-3% of cement;The proportion of each shift aggregate:9.5~19mm:4.75~9.5mm:0~4.75mm=33%:38%:27%:2%.Then, analyze mixture internal structure through computed tomography(CT) and scanning electron microscopy test. Finally in order to verify a variety of uses of the coupling agent in of the asphalt pavement repair, the interlayer bonding test between the old and new pavement has done. In actual construction, in order to avoid the emulsified asphalt's emulsion breaking in transportation engineering, special field mixing equipment was developed.Composite cold coupling agent- cement emulsified asphalt mixture in the basis of not reducing emulsified asphalt mixture, enhanced the early strength mixture, greatly shortened the time of opening and strengthened the interlayer bonding between the old and new pavement. Today, maintenance engineering is becoming more and more important, the coupling agent —cement emulsified asphalt mixture and mixing equipment put forward by this article have the obvious social benefits, which worth popularizing and quoting widely.
