Chu Shandian reservoir in Henan is a large on the main stream of the huaihe river flood control project,it is a only a flood control engineering which was repeated listed in the huaihe river basin planning. It is a large water conservancy project whose mainly purpose is flood control, power generation combined with water supply, irrigation, give attention to two or morethings comprehensive utilization.Due to the shape of the dam line is longer, which spans several different lithology so that the foundations of the differences in engineering properties, the dam body and foundation are likely to occur the larger settlement and uneven settlement in this case, resulting in destruction of core wall tear and even the whole dam body.So study the subgrade settlement has great significance for the whole project progress, project quality. In view of the earth-rock dam foundation settlement problem, the article use the curve of e-p and nonlinear into elastic formula to calculate preliminary settlement during the construction, then check the results by finite element method by ANSYS software in 3 d finite element modeling calculation. Results show that settlement is too large, which does not meet the design requirements, and corresponding measures must be taken.Depending on the overall properties of soil, the article use simulate the sand compaction pile composite foundation, and ues ansys to the run-time settlement again. Results show that settlement is in the allowed range, which proved that the scheme is feasible.Through computing research, this article provides the basis and experience for the settlement calculation and treatment scheme and experience.
