In many parts of the Chinese railway line,railway line due to the complexity of the local terrain conditions,mountains,canyons,complex terrain,such as deep groove,need through the Bridges across the terrain,so the role of the high pier bridge is more and more important.Circuit for high intensity seismic region,to guarantee the bridge from damage in the earthquake effect,on the one hand,reduce the earthquake disaster relief for the inconvenience,on the other hand can also reduce the cost of the repair of the piers.To sum up,the high pier’s seismic research is particularly important.The special feature of the design is that bridge piers are composed of columns and plates,which bears the load together,and through the plate primarily yield to consume energy to ensure that the column can continue to work,in order to improve the overall seismic performance of the structure.In this study,Zongmu ditch railway bridge be selected as the prototype,and the original structure of column slab hollow high pier has been improved.Connection plates between the pillars were replaced with steel wave,thus forming a column-steel composite waveform pier.Specific studies on seismic performance analysis are as follows:Firstly,according to the actual engineering data,full bridge finite element model was built using the finite element software midas Civil,forming different sizes of plate column piers through simulation the wave plate of different wave height.Secondly,many performances of these three models are analyzed,including static analysis,vibration characteristics analysis,response spectrum analysis and dynamic analysis.Compared with the natural period of vibration,with the increase of wave height,vibration period increases with the increase of the bridge,the stiffness decreases gradually.Pier linear seismic response and response spectrum analysis showed that: with the increase of wave height,the top of the pier column maximum displacement increases gradually.Comparing and analyzing the simulation results of the three structures,the optimal height size is selected to carry out another nonlinear numerical analysis.Finally,the research results have provided a theoretical basis for the practical application of the column slab bridge piers.
