With the rapid development of China's economy, the mass Urban Transit System such as Metro and Light Rail Transit has become the first solution when it comes to big city transit problems. The mass urban transit system has several advantages, which include large capacity, high efficiency and less pollution. At present, three types of metro vehicles(A, B, and C) have been used in China's subway lines. Bogie is a key component of the urban rail transit vehicles. It greatly affects the safety of metro vehicle on the online, performance, reliability and passengers aboard the vehicle's comfort level. It is important to economy of transportation hierarchy. The performance of the bogie is a powerful guarantee for the safety of vehicle operation. The quality of the bogie for vehicle online road safety, smooth and comfortable aspects play a key role. The article focuses on an imported subway vehicle trailer bogie model and the researcher conducted three-dimensional simulation of the model and strength analysis to its key components.In terms of structure design of the simulation, I first analyzed the metro bogie to understand the overall structure of the bogie and the relations between components. I study the bogie for the non- rolling pillow. According to whether there is a power plant can be divided into two kinds of trailer bogie and car bogie. In this paper, the trailer bogie is the research object. The steering frame is composed of a wheel axle box device, a frame, a spring suspension device, a basic brake device and a motor driving device. According to the various parts of the structure and process characteristics, I used 3D software Solidworks 3D simulation for each part to build possible models. Then, according to the assembly relationship between components, I combined the assembly process of the metro bogie, using 3D software Solidworks to virtually assemble the bogie, and validate the rationality of the assembly.For the strength analysis of key parts, the key component of the bogie—wheel—was emphasized. The wheel is one of the most important parts in rail transportation vehicle. Direct acceptance of the wheel from the track of various shocks. The strength of the wheel directly affects the safety of vehicle operation. So it is needed to analyze the strength of the wheel at the design stage. It can give full play to the material and the structure of the overall carrying capacity. Using finite element analysis software, first of all, I analyzed the interference of the connection strength and found that the surface of the shaft contact stress distribution and interference on the influence of the contact stress, for the wheel to provide data support for the structure and process optimization. Second, the wheel was submitted to the fatigue strength analysis to confirm if the strength of the wheel could meet the requirements.
