Along with the rapid development of China’s industrial economy into the period, the development of power grid and electric power construction project task is very heavy, the working efficiency of the power grid and power whether can run normally is directly related to the national important guarantee to maintain a normal life, standing on the height of national strategy, the stability of the transformer substation and intelligent is the security of the power system operation work, is also the basis for the development of power grid and the important support, with the constant improvement of transformer operation maintenance requirements, transformer faults online diagnosis technology research work has been more and more attention, rely on the working status of substation equipment on-line monitoring and diagnostic equipment, basic state and risk analysis of power equipment operation condition, the electric power system in order to achieve the substation of power grid more accurate overall control, through the comprehensive assessment of the demand for power to electrical equipment maintenance cost is reasonable and reliable operation state, thus completes the related management and online monitoring and fault diagnosis of substation power grid work is one of the important measures to sustain continuous running power in an orderly way.Analysis, this thesis mainly study using photoacoustic spectroscopy for on-line monitoring of dissolved gas in transformer oil, with gas chromatographic analysis in fault diagnosis principle, accuracy, stability, and the aspects of comparison, proved its advantages in the actual production work and field application of the technology in the practical work for monitoring and diagnosis of transformer faults, which influence the stability of equipment using photoacoustic spectrum diagnosis of transformer faults online monitoring system, through the analysis of the content of gases dissolved in transformer oil, the judgment of transformer fault type, analysis the cause of the problem, and compared with gas chromatography experiment, verify the photoacoustic spectroscopy with high sensitivity and high accuracy, due to the detection technology still has some limitations, and the complexity of the power transformer internal fault exists, the current application of the reliability and stability of the on-line monitoring system is still inadequate.
