Energy and environment problem is one of the most challenging problems of this century,in this context,power industry also realized that it is difficult to solve power grid operation and management problems only through a traditional,conventional power technologies and tools."Smart grid" is the key to construction of modern power grid,with a strong,self-healing,compatible,economy,integration,optimization and other features.Now many countries of the world,including China,have already started to actively explore about the smart grid construction,to cope with the grid's new requirements and challenges from the energy,the environment,and many other areas on 21st century.Intelligent substation as an important foundation for a strong intelligence network node,is an important part of smart grid construction.Power transmission equipment condition monitoring technology is the key to realize intelligent substation construction techniques,is the core of intelligent substation construction.Therefore,power transmission equipment condition monitoring and fault diagnosis system has a positive and far-reaching significance to improve the construction of the power system production management level,strengthen condition monitoring maintenance decision support applications,and promote smart grid construction.Based on the IEC61850 standard object-oriented modeling design idea in this paper,condition monitoring and fault diagnosing system of Lili intelligent substation is researched and applied.Paper firstly analyzes the research and application of condition monitoring and fault diagnosing system at home and abroad,discusses the intelligent substation of condition monitoring and fault diagnosis technology development trend,combined with intelligent substation of Lili reality study of online monitoring and fault diagnosis system for intelligent substation integrated solutions.The comprehensive monitoring system of equipment state information of the transformer,circuit breaker,GIS,current transformer,capacitive voltage transformer and surge arrester are proposed.And decided to use OMDS power transmission and transformation equipment condition monitoring and fault diagnosis system.Secondly,the system of smart substation of Lili state detection and fault diagnosis of system composition,network structure,system characteristics and other aspects are analyzed and discussed.the paper combined with the actual needs of Lili intelligent substation,the composition structure,software structure,monitoring principle and equipment of condition detection and fault diagnosis system are demonstrated.This article discusses in detail how to apply OMDS system to the substation state detection and fault intelligent monitoring system.Finally,the paper has analyzed the actual operation of Lili Smart Substation Transformer On-line Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis System,the operation status of it has been discussed,and explored the management of smart substation transformer to give the useful suggestion.What's more,this paper discussed the typical fault in actual operation situation,such as communication fault,unregularly data,negative data exist and data exception.After the testing and analyzing,the reason of faults have been founded and the effective measures have been proposed.This article combines the theory with the actual situation of Lili intelligent substation,the smart substation monitoring system and fault diagnosis system is studied design.It provides direction for application of research results obtained in the future status of intelligent monitoring system for substation and fault detection system,and it has the very high reference value for the future promotion and the construction of intelligent substation.
