The Research And Realization On Fault Location System Of Power Distribution Network

With the development of economy and living standard, the requirement of power supply reliability for power users turns more and more high. It is particularly important to fault detection and location of the distribution network for the construction of distribution network automation and intelligent power grid. When distribution network fault occurs, it is required to locate the fault rapidly according to the distribution network line real-time data information. Therefore, in order to locate faults quickly and accurately,this article we use the method of monitoring the real-time current information on line to realize single-phase earth fault location and short circuit fault location in the distribution network.The distribution network fault location system in this thesis studies is a real-time online section fault location system, mainly used in 10 kV overhead line with neutral point not grounding. The locating method ensures the fault section through analyzing real-time on line current information in the system. The system consists of monitoring terminal and central station. The monitoring terminals installed on the line to monitor the current information and running status, through wireless ad-hoc network module(Wave mesh modules), monitoring terminal and center complete the data transmission, center console installing the fault analysis software can determine the fault type and fault section through the real-time data information of lines from the monitoring terminal.This thesis designed the monitoring terminal of the fault location system. Achieves improved CT online to take power with a combination of Lithium Cell power supply.Completed monitoring terminal hardware circuit board design and the preparation of Monitoring points microcontroller program. Finally, the whole system for fault location was tested, we can view real-time data on line and fault report information through the central station, locate the fault section quickly and accurately, complete the fault location system in distribution network.
