Assessment Of Urban Fire Risk Of Jiangxi Province

The urban fire risk increasing with the development of urbanization, rapidly increasing of population, centralization of enterprises, high-rising of residential building. Urban fire is influenced by natural factors and human factors, with both nature and social attribute. Urban fire lead to life and property seriously damaged, and affect social security and economic development at the same time.Based on the analysis of correlation among historical fire data, demographic data, nighttime light index,sunshine hours and precipitation data in 11 cities of Jiangxi province, urban fire risk assement models based on social economic factors and climate condition, amd comprehensive assessment model were established. Meanwhile, urban fire risk regionalizations were mapped by climate variables,socioeconomic elements and comprehensive elements of urban fire risk, respectively. The results showed that: 1) urban fire have a positive response on nighttime light index, populations and population density, the higher nighttime light, populations and populaion density the more urban fire.Urban fire number show a significantly positive correlation with annual sunshine duration, but negative correlation with precipitation. 2) The urban fire risk assessment model based on the nighttime light and total populations can explain 56% of the urban fire risk, the spatial characteristic is not obvious. Meanwhile, the urban fire risk assessment model based on the annual precipitation and sunshine hours can explain 15% of the urban fire risk only, and showed an increase trend from southwest to northeast. Based on the index of population, nighttime light, annual sunshine duration and annual precipitation, the comprehensive assessment model of urban fire risk was established, and urban fire risk in Jiangxi province can be divided into 5 five grades.According to the above research results, this paper provided several countermeasures for urban high-rise building fire, personnel intensive place fire prevention countermeasures and cable fire prevention countermeasures, for urban residents to live and work in peace and contentment, building a harmonious society, and create a good environment for the fire safety and provide the theoretical reference to promote social and economic development.
