Social development has brought both reduction of natural resources and environmental pollution problems. Nowadays large scale haze phenomenon covered above most parts of China has influenced people’s thought about the economic growth model. All around the country the development mode has been changing gradually from the pursuit of rate at sacrifice of environment and resources into sustainable development of the pursuit of resources and environment protection. Electric vehicle(EV) gets rid of the dependence on petroleum products through propelling by electricity instead of oil, and EV is low noise and pollution as well. EV has been included in the strategic new industry of our government, and promoted throughout the country. EV charging infrastructure is the important foundation to promote the electric vehicle industry development. Stability, efficient and convenient charging service is a kind of necessary guarantee. EV charging station cannot serve the community at the maximize effect level unless its construction layout is been planed well in a scientific and rational way.Through to the domestic and foreign multi-region EV development situation analysis, combing the charging facilities layout planning of relevant theoretical researches and practical cases, this thesis studies the EV charging service network layout planning in Shijiazhuang. Firstly, it analyzes the EVs and charging facilities of the current construction status and the research situation all around the world, and introduces four kinds of charging facilities according to the different charging ways. Based on national standard and construction principles, it gives a design of EV fast charging station. Secondly, on the basis of research of various EVs and charging infrastructure, it makes forecast for Shijiazhuang city EVs and charging facilities quantity from two stages, i.e. the recent planning and long-term planning. Lastly, it fills in electricity facilities service network layout planning according to the prediction results and Shijiazhuang current city layout.The charging service network planning of Shijiazhuang is important for both local economic development and transport. Design programs in this thesis are well worth to construction charging service network for Shijiazhuang.
