Hump is the core component of railway freight transportation organization, and its disintegration efficiency directly affects the overall operation of the marshalling station. Precise control of truck velocity controlled by retarder speed control system is the core of the hump operation. It is not only related to the time of turnover and goods delivery of rolling stock, but also directly affects the development of railway freight transportation in our country. At present, regulation of truck velocity uses retarder process control mathematical model. But because of many factors influencing the speed control of retarder and the characteristics of nonlinear time-varying of speed regulation process of truck velocity, it is difficult to meet the accuracy requirements of the speed control system of the retarder speed control system.Firstly, according to the problem of large error of radar velocity measurement of hump vehicle retarder speed control system, this dissertation presents that inverse synthetic aperture radar is installed on one side of the lateral truck line, and then truck velocity estimation algorithms based on the self focusing are simulated on the MATLAB platform. It can be seen from the simulation results that through the map drift algorithm the instantaneous speed of truck velocity can be accurately calculated directly on the condition that the minimum entropy detection algorithm is used to search the speed of truck velocity roughly. Requirements for continuous and accurate measurement of kinds of truck form are realized.Then the current retarder speed control system of hump vehicle and mathematical model of retarder process control are studied. According to the performance of hump vehicle retarder speed control system and requirements of mathematical model of retarder process control, a fuzzy adaptive PID controller optimized by genetic algorithm is designed, which is suitable for the speed control system of hump vehicle retarder speed control system. Speed error and speed error change of truck velocity in speed regulation process are considered as the controller input, and according to the established fuzzy strategy and fuzzy reasoning mechanism, the three parameters of PID controller are adjusted in real time, which will make the controller meet the requirements of the speed control of the hump vehicle retarder speed control.At last, the combination of MATLAB text and Simulink is used to make the computer simulation. After several tests and adjustment, the fuzzy PID optimized by genetic algorithm has strong ability to adapt the changes of parameters and environment of truck velocity and can meet the requirements of the control precision of the retarder speed control system. Then the speed control system of the hump vehicle retarder speed control system is simulated based on the TW-2 type hump automatic control system. The simulation results show that the actual speed and computing speed required by system reach a consensus when the truck leaves the retarder, the performance of the original retarder speed control system is improved, and control precision of retarder and safe connection rate of truck is improved.
